JAMAICA, NY – York College freshman Ayman Busat has been named the winner of the 2010 CUNY Athletic Conference Men’s Tennis Sportsmanship Award.  The sportsmanship award, along with the first and second-team selections, were announced by the CUNYAC office Monday afternoon.

FLUSHING MEADOWS, NY – The York College men’s tennis team saw its 2010 season come to an end in the CUNY Athletic Conference quarterfinals as they fell to John Jay College 5-0 at the USTA Tennis Center Saturday afternoon.

JAMAICA, NY – The pairings for the upcoming 2010 CUNY Athletic Conference men’s tennis championships have been announced and York College—the sixth seed—will take on third-seeded John Jay College on Saturday, May 1 at 1:00 p.m. at the USTA National Tennis Center.

JAMAICA, NY – The York College men’s tennis team finished up regular season play Saturday, falling to NYU-Polytechnic by a score of 7-2. 

York picked up one win in both singles and doubles.  At third doubles, Erick Giron and Kenan Kajtezovic earned an 8-5 victory, while Charlton Distin won 7-6, 6-4 at fourth singles.

JAMAICA, NY – The Hunter College Hawks proved to be too much for the Cardinals tennis team Wednesday afternoon, defeating York by a 9-0 score in a CUNY Athletic Conference match.
