York Soccer to Host Brooklyn in CUNYAC Quarterfinals

JAMAICA, NY— The pairings for the 2009 CUNY Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer Championships have been announced and York College, the 2009 regular season CUNYAC champion and top seed, will host the eighth-seeded Brooklyn College Bridges on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. on the York College Soccer Field.
The Cardinals finished the regular season with a record of 9-7, 7-2 in the CUNYAC and edged out Baruch College in the standings by one point. York will be looking for its fifth men’s soccer CUNYAC men’s soccer championship. Their last title came in 2007.
The Cardinals defeated Brooklyn College 4-0 in the regular season.
