York Alum Mark Feinsod Featured in Las Vegas-Review Journal
Mark Feinsod

Former York College Tennis star and alumnus, Mark Feinsod, was recently featured in an article in the Las Vegas-Review Journal.  To view the complete article click here.  A video was also included in the story, which can be viewed here.  

 

Feinsod, who earned his bachelor's degree in physical education from York in 2008, recently moved to Las Vegas and is pursuing a master’s degree in athletic administration at UNLV.  He also teaches tennis and has founded the Mark Feinsod Tennis Academy, where he teaches young players tennis basics.  For more information about the Mark Feinsod Tennis Academy click here.

JAMAICA, NY – The York College men’s tennis team finished up regular season play Saturday, falling to NYU-Polytechnic by a score of 7-2. 

 

York picked up one win in both singles and doubles.  At third doubles, Erick Giron and Kenan Kajtezovic earned an 8-5 victory, while Charlton Distin won 7-6, 6-4 at fourth singles.

JAMAICA, NY – The Hunter College Hawks proved to be too much for the Cardinals tennis team Wednesday afternoon, defeating York by a 9-0 score in a CUNY Athletic Conference match.

JAMAICA, NY – Ayman Busat was the lone winner for York on Sunday as the Cardinals fell to Yeshiva University 8-1 in a non-conference match. 

 

Busat won a third-set tiebreaker over Yeshiva’s Joseph Itkis at first singles—7-6, 6-7 10-5— to notch York’s only win of the day. The Maccabees took the remaining five singles matches and swept doubles play.
