Men’s Volleyball to Host CCNY in CUNYAC Quarterfinals
JAMAICA, NY— The York College men's volleyball team has earned the fourth seed in the upcoming CUNY Athletic Conference Tournament and they will host the City College of New York on Tuesday, March 23 at 7:00 p.m.
CCNY comes into the tournament with a record of 10-16 overall and 6-8 in CUNYAC, while the Cardinals sport a record of 13-16 and 8-6 in the CUNYAC.
York has defeated CCNY twice this season, winning 3-1 on February 6 and 3-0 on February 25. The Cardinals have won five straight matches against CCNY, including a quarterfinal match last season.
Should York win, they will play in the semi-finals on Friday, March 26 at Hunter College. Fans are encouraged to wear red in support of the team.
