York Soccer to Hold Annual Alumni Game September 5th

JAMAICA, NY— The York College men’s soccer team will hold its annual alumni game on Sunday, September 5^th at 10:00 a.m. on the York College Soccer Field. All former players are welcome to attend.

Cardinals Spotlight Returns with Interview with Soccer Coach Kafui Kouakou

After a long lay-off, the "Cardinals' Spotlight" returned Wednesday afternoon. Co-hosts Brandon Nix and John Scarinci caught up with head women's soccer coach and assistant men's coach, Kafui Kouakou. Nix and Scarinci also previewed the Super Bowl and also discussed the York College basketball season.

Men’s Soccer Stunned by Baruch in CUNYAC Semifinals

BROOKLYN, NY— The York College men's soccer team, the #2 seed in the CUNYAC/ Applebee's Men's Soccer Championship, were upset by the third-seed, Baruch College, who dominated the contest, winning by a score of 5-0 at the Aviator Sports Complex Wednesday evening.

CUNYAC Men’s Soccer Semifinals Rescheduled for Wednesday

The semifinals of the CUNY Athletic Conference men's soccer championships, originally scheduled for last Saturday, have been rescheduled for Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at the Aviator Sports and Events Center in Brooklyn, NY.

York College, the #2 seed will be taking on the #3 seed Baruch College, with a trip to the championship game on the line. Lehman College and Hunter College will do battle in the other semifinal game at 3:30 p.m., also at Aviator Field. The winners will face off on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. at Randall's Island.
