Muirhead Named CUNYAC Women’s Volleyball All-Star
JAMAICA, NY— York College freshman
Stayce Kay Muirhead has been named to the 2011 CUNY Athletic Conference Women's Volleyball All-Star Second Team.
Muirhead, in just her first year of collegiate play, led the Cardinals in kills per game (1.78), hitting percentage (.272) and blocks (0.48). Her hitting percentage also ranked fourth in the CUNYAC.
Gerri-Ann Martin of Lehman College earned Player of the Year Honors, while Jessica Wu of Baruch College was the Rookie of the Year. Posey Wilson of Baruch College was the Libero of the Year, while Ray Bello of Hunter College was named Coach of the Year.
