The YorkCollege men’s basketball team will compete in the SUNY New Paltz Tip-Off Classic this weekend. The Cardinals will take on Hartwick on Friday at 1 p.m. On Saturday the consolation game will be at 3 p.m. and the Championship game will tip-off at 8 p.m. Live stats for each game of the tournament will be provided courtesy of SUNY New Paltz.To access the live stats, click here right before tip-off of each game.

Esonwune’s Career Day Wasted as York Falls to NJCU, 78-74, in Opener

JERSEY CITY, NJ— Sophomore Marcel Esonwune put together one of the greatest single game performances in York College history but it was not enough as the Cardinals dropped their season opener, 78-74,to New Jersey City University Saturday afternoon.Esonwune netted a career-high 38 points on a 17-21 shooting, tied a career high with six blocks, pulled down 15 boards and had three steals for York.
