NEW YORK, NY— The York College women’s volleyball team saw its season come to an end Tuesday evening with a 3-0 (25-7, 25-12, 25-4) loss to second-seeded CCNY in the quarterfinals of the CUNY Athletic Conference championships.

JAMAICA, NY— The York College men’s and women’s swimming team lost its season-opening meet to Mt. St. Mary College Tuesday evening. The women lost by a score of 105-93, while the men fell 96-80.
Despite the loss, York sophomore Averie Mohammed picked up where she left off from last year, winning both the 50-freestyle and the 100-freestyle. In addition the men’s relay teams won both the 200-medley relay and the 200-freestyle relay.

The York College men’s soccer team is in the finals once again! A bus will be provided for all fans who would like to root on the Cardinals on Saturday when York battles Hunter College at 1:30 p.m. at the College of Staten Island. The bus will be leaving promptly at 12:30 from in front of the Health and Physical Education Building. Seats will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Be sure to arrive early to make sure you get a seat.

JAMAICA, NY – Francisco Florez scored two goals, both of which were set up by Elysee Vilsaint, who finished with three assists and a goal, as the York College men’s soccer team defeated Brooklyn College 4-2 in the CUNY Athletic Conference Quarterfinals Thursday afternoon. With the win, York advances to the conference semi-finals for the fourth consecutive season and will battle Medgar Evers College on Saturday at 11:30 at the College of Staten Island.
