New Paltz Wins York Men's Volleyball Invitational
York Men's Volleyball

JAMAICA, NY— SUNY New Paltz went 4-0 en route to winning the Fifth Annual York Men’s Volleyball Invitational Saturday.  New Paltz was the only team to go undefeated in the tournament. 

 

In the most exciting match of the day, New Paltz edged Quincy University in a battle of undefeated teams.  New Paltz overcame a 2-1 deficit and went on to win the match 3-2 (30-22, 26-30, 22-30, 30-21,15-13).

JAMAICA, NY— The York College men’s volleyball team won both its games at the CUNY Athletic Conference multi-match Saturday afternoon.  The Cardinals defeated New York City Tech 3-1, (30-27, 28-30, 30-21, 30-21) in the first match and came back later to defeat the City College of New York 3-1 (28-30, 30-25, 30-19, 30-25).

NEW YORK, NY— The York College men’s volleyball team picked up a pair of victories Sunday afternoon, defeating both Yeshiva University and Purchase College.  The Cardinals won a hard-fought, five-set match in the opening contest against Yeshiva, winning 3-2 (30-24, 27-30, 30-20, 27-30, 17-15) and then swept away Purchase College 3-0 (30-22, 30-18, 30-17).
