Lady Cardinals Looking for Three-Peat
JAMAICA, NY— The York College women's outdoor track and field team will be looking for its third straight championship when they host the CUNY Athletic Conference Championships at Icahn Stadium on Randall's Island, beginning this Sunday, May 10. Day one of events will take place Sunday at 9:00 a.m. and Day two will be on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m.
Admission to the event is free so come out and support the Cardinals! However, when arriving fans should park in the FDNY lot located across from the stadium. The lots in front of the stadium will cost $10 to park.
York with be looking for its fourth title overall. The Lady Cardinals also won in 2002, 2007 and 2008.
The men's team will also compete but will not be eligible to score.
