JAMAICA, NY— York College senior James Kearney has been named the CUNY Athletic Conference Men's Swimmer of the Week for the period ending January 10, 2010.

Kearney won a pair of events in the Cardinals only meet of the week, a 138-57 loss to the College of Staten Island, on Friday.  Kearney took first place in the 50-freestyle and then came back later to win the 100-breaststroke. 

York will visit John Jay College tonight at 6:00 p.m., before returning home next Tuesday against Lehman College at 7:00 p.m.
