Kemillia John and Tarik Weekes Lead York at Pratt Invitational
BROOKLYN, NY—York College seniors
Kemillia John and Tarik Weekes each had strong performances at the Pratt Institute Invitational on Friday evening. John won both the 200-meter dash and the 400-meter run and Tarik Weekes took first in the 400-meter run to lead the Cardinals.
John ran the 200 in 27.11 and the 400 in 1:05.23, while Weekes finished the 400 in 51.8. Senior Christopher Peguero came in second behind Weeks in the 400-meters, finishing in a time of 53.7.
In addition, the women's 4x400 meter relay team placed first in a time of 4:44.5.
York will return to action for the Armory Sprint Night on December 26 at the New York City Armory.
