Dunn Named CUNYAC Softball All-Star

JAMAICA, N.Y.— York College softball player Danielle Dunn has been named to the 2012 CUNY Athletic Conference Softball All-Star team, earning second-team honors.

Dunn, a sophomore corner infielder, led the Cardinals with a .313 batting average and 18 RBIs this season.  She was also solid in the field at both first and third base, as she led the team in fielding percentage.  In the CUNYAC, as of May 7, Dunn ranks 12th in the league in hitting and 11th in on-base percentage (.380).

It's been quite some time since a member of the Cardinals softball team garnered All-Star Honors.  Dunn is the first York College softball player to make the team since 2004, when Camille Brown was named an Honorable Mention All-Star.
